The ICE BOX is home for ice skating activities in a seven-county area of North Central
Indiana and Southwest Michigan.
Located on the near west side of South Bend, the double-rink facility draws individual,
team, and family skaters weekly from Elkhart to Plymouth to Laporte in Indiana; from Benton Harbor, Niles, and
Edwardsburg in Michigan. On the weekends and high school vacation periods, ice hockey teams from
throughout the country participate in regional competitions and ice hockey tournaments.
The ICE BOX - conceived, developed and grown by a devoted army of volunteers - has
evolved into one of the finest amateur ice skating facilities in the Midwest. And the commitment
to further enhance this great wintertime activity center is high on the list of priorities.
